Water and Weight Loss, Detoxing, and Well Being!
Water and weight loss, health and well being go hand in hand. Don’t underestimate the value of drinking pure clean water. Yes, your coffee, milk, tea and soda pop is mostly water. But unless it is pure reverse osmosis filtered, spring, or distilled water anything else will most likely play the great role of further dehydrating your body. This can devastate the detoxing process and further stunt the progress of true cleansing. Water is the most abundant element on the Earth and in our body. Clean pure water emits negative ions which take part in relieving depression and enhance mood. Water plays a more important part in our physiology than even nutrients. We oftentimes forget that you can survive weeks without food but only a few days without water. This tells us that you can stuff yourself dry with nutrient dense (or nutritionless foods like white bread for that matter) but without water, none of those nutrients will actually get assimilated. After all, water, not food, carries the nutrients through your digestive system. Beyond water and weight loss, detoxing and cleansing, drinking pure water is simply good practice. Tap water doesn’t count. Most tap water contains massive amounts of chlorine, fluoride, heavy metals, residue from pharmaceuticals. Let’s face it. By now we all probably own a Brita or Pur pitcher water filter. They filter some chlorine but it is only a carbon filter. Its main purpose is the filter sediments. Your municipal water source has already done this so it’s essentially a waste of money. Reverse osmosis filtration is one of the best methods to achieve pure drinking water. They can run upwards of 500 dollars for a system and the filter needs periodical replacement. Most bottled water is simply tap water that has been filtered with a reverse osmosis system Spring water is good as far as a clean source of drinking water. It supplies many minerals that are essential to some basic physiological functions, is great for cleansing and supplying the body with the much needed hydration. Oftentimes however its not regulated. Make sure that it’s from a reputable source, or that it has been filtered using reverse osmosis or ozonation or both. Distilled water is perfect for cleansing and detoxing. It is 100% pure water and nothing else. This means it picks up those toxins right away and flushes them out. There are no foreign particles dissolved in the water so it’s ready and able to hydrate you and cleanse your internal systems. Does drinking water make you sick? If so, you have been avoiding drinking water for too long. You have a buildup of toxins, and when you drink water it immediately tries to pick some up and prepare the toxins for elimination. Try instead to drink water as much as possible until you no longer feel sick and prepare yourself for a liver cleanse and a raw food diet! Return from Water and Weight Loss to the HOME Page
