Easy Wrap Recipes

Easy Wrap recipes:

This quick meal is easy to pack for work or school lunches.

Ingredients:

Whole wheat [or other natural flavor, such as spinach, tomato-basil etc. Your choice, but remember to read the ingredients first! Many tortillas still contain hydrogenated oils.]

Dijon mustard

Hummus

Veganaise or other soy mayo

Baby spinach

Sprouts

½ an avocado

3 or 4 cucumber slices

Handful of raw sunflower seeds

Pinch of salt and pepper or cayenne[optional]

Lay the tortilla on a flat surface

Thinly layer your condiments [mustard, soy mayo, hummus or any other, depending on your taste]

Scoop out the avocado meat and use a fork to mash it onto the tortilla

Sprinkle on the sunflower seeds, salt, pepper, or cayenne.

Layer the cucumber slices on top of this

Then add baby spinach leaves and sprouts until the tortilla is full.

[Try not to over fill, or it won’t stay folded!]

To wrap, fold the bottom up about two or three inches so it looks like a little pocket. Then fold the right and then left sides in. You can always use a little hummus to stick the sides together.
